LIDO CAMPANELLO
Located on the lakefront of Lido Campanello in Castelnuovo del Garda, the Festival Theatre is the event’s window on Lake Garda. Music vibrates on the water framing special events within a postcard landscape, punctuated by evocative sunsets.
Thanks to its unique atmosphere and natural beauty, the Lido is transformed into the main Festival stage.
The OFF Festival takes place in the Piccola Arena of Lido Campanello during the rest of the year, with small concerts, meetings with authors and children events.
SANTUARIO DELLA MADONNA DEL FRASSINO
Built in 1511, the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Frassino in Peschiera del Garda has for over four centuries guarded a small terracotta statue of the Madonna del Frassino, which, according to tradition miraculously appeared on 11 May 1510 among the branches of an ash tree.
On top of being the destination of thousands of pilgrims every year, it is now a national monument that occupies a very important place in the history of Lake Garda.
The precious pipe organ located in the presbytery above the central altar dates back to the mid-18th century. The instrument gilded in pure gold leaf is enclosed in a case embellished with decorative carved wooden elements that highlight mouldings and details of Veneto neoclassicism.
GOLF CLUB PARADISO DEL GARDA / “IL PIRLÀR” RESTAURANT
Nestling amidst the hilly landscape in the southern part of Lake Garda, the Golf Club Paradiso Garda is a meeting point for beginners and experienced golfers with a modern 18-hole course covering an area of approximately 800,000 m².
Designed by the American architect Jim Fazio, the Golf Club Paradiso Garda is a true natural oasis: 5 lakes, numerous bunkers made of white quartzite, large greens and well-maintained fairways, the 4-hole “Paradisetto” course for practising and improving your technique, driving range, Putting Green, Pitching Green and a Pro-Shop.
The restaurant “Il Pirlàr”, surrounded by the greenery of the golf resort, is located on the upper floor of the Club House and has access to the swimming pool and a wonderful panoramic terrace overlooking the golf course and the lake. The panoramic terrace is ideal for a refined dinner in an exclusive setting. The large dining room can comfortably seat up to 180 people, while the “Sala Camino” is more intimate and reserved, with a capacity of up to 60 people, offering a splendid view of Monte Baldo on clear days.
